This is a brunch place you didn't know you needed. I first tried 215 Hackney last year, and since then, it has become my absolute favourite spot for brunch in Stoke Newington. It’s a small, cosy place slightly off the beaten path, away from the crowds of Church Street, which makes it feel like a proper gem.
The best thing about 215 Hackney? The menu is full of incredible Middle Eastern flavours you might not expect at brunch, but they just work. Everything I’ve tried has been beyond delicious, and if you’re a fan of bold, exciting dishes, this place will introduce you to flavour pairings you didn’t even know you needed.
Their Hackney Feast is a must-try, which is a Middle Eastern twist on the classic English breakfast, while the Shakshuka brings together spiced vegetables in the best way possible. But the real showstopper? Baklawa French Toast! It’s rich, sweet, and absolutely worth the indulgence.
Beyond the food, there’s something really special about this place. They work with local suppliers and donate part of their profits to War Child UK, so eating here isn’t just good for you, it’s doing good for others too.
If you haven’t been here yet, make it your next brunch stop, you won’t regret it!
